Steamboat Union showcase heart wrenching four-part vocal harmonies, whilst tipping their hats to the Americana and British Folk traditions.

Featuring grooving bass lines, foot thumping rhythmn, driving guitar riffs and just a tinkling of banjo, this Suffolk based quartet are a must-see act for 2017.

Steamboat Union has been formed from two established duos, Kev Walford and Kelly Pritchard and Honey & The Bear (Jon Hart and Lucy Sampson). Based on the Suffolk Coast, you will hear Steamboat Union perform at a variety of East Anglian based gigs and festivals. Singer/songwriter & guitarist originally from Liverpool – now based in Suffolk. One half of a duo with Kelly Pritchard who perform original compositions with a strong Americana and roots influence.

Singer, songwriter, acoustic guitarist and double bass player based on the Suffolk coast. Inspired by a mixture of energetic rhythmic roots and other world influences. One half of acoustic Suffolk duo ‘Honey & The Bear’.

Lucy Sampson

Lucy Sampson

A self taught guitarist, ukulele, banjo player and percussionist, who writes music about matters close to her heart. One half of Suffolk folk & americana duo ‘Honey & The Bear’.
